「田淵太郎展 月の陽炎」の2日目。
磁土を薪窯で焼く。考えてみれば因子は最小限な訳ですが、驚くほど多彩な表情に目を見張ります。窯の中で起こる神の御業を映し取るために、人は描きやすい白いキャンパスを用意する。そう考えれば、形状はシンプルであることが大切なのだと気付きます。
Porcelain clay is fired in a wood-fired kiln. When you think about it, the factors are minimal, but the amazing variety of expressions is astonishing. In order to capture the work of God that takes place in the kiln, one prepares a white canvas that is easy to draw on. Thinking of it this way, we realize that it is important for the shape to be simple.

2000年 大阪芸術大学工芸学科陶芸コース卒業
2007年 香川県高松市に穴窯を築窯
2022年 現在、同地にて制作
